Recovery is a complete and balanced diet to support nutritional restoration and convalescence of cats and dogs.
Usage:
Recommended for cases of:
- Convalescence
- Re-feeding after anorexia period
- Malnutrition
- Post-surgery and intensive care
- Tube feeding (tubes with diameter > 10Fr)
- Feline hepatic lipidosis
Not recommended in case of:
- Hepatic encephalopathy
- Pancreatitis
Ingredients:
Poultry by-products, chicken meat, hydrolysed pork gelatin, corn starch mixture, powdered cellulose, fish oil, caseinate, minerals, sunflower oil ( refined), psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligosaccharides, marigold extract (source of lutein), yeasts and part thereof. Nutritional additives*: Vitamin A: 1500 IU, Vitamin D3: 195 IU, Iron: 12 mg, Iodine: 0.6 mg, Copper: 2.5 mg, Manganese: 10.1 mg, Zinc: 37 mg. *Values reflect only levels added to the formula, not those naturally occurring in components of the diet.

2 energy levels are described for hospitalised cats and dogs:
- Level 1: For sick pets resting in a cage, feed according to their Resting Energy Requirement (RER):
RER = 70 (weight in kg)^0.75
- Level 2: For pets in maintenance, feed according to their Maintenance Energy Requirement (MER):
MER = 95 (weight in kg)^0.75
If your pet is not eating (anorexic):
- Less than 3 days:
- Day 1: Feed 1/3 of the daily amount
- Day 2: Feed 2/3 of the daily amount
- Day 3: Feed full amount
- More than 3 days:
- Day 1: Feed 1/4 of the daily amount
- Day 2: Feed 1/2 of the daily amount
- Day 3: Feed 2/3 of the daily amount
- Day 4: Feed 3/4 of the daily amount
- Day 5: Feed full amount
